Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and use a computer or tablet.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, perimeter areas, parking locations, and restricted-access points to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and promptly communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
