Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all laws.
• Subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be governed by state or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify potential concerns and report issues involving access, property, and facility conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity in support of access control protocols, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Support operations at an aero and defense location by remaining aware of restricted areas, following post orders, and assisting with incident response and reporting requirements.

The Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position offers a flexible, dependable option for individuals seeking to supplement their income, gain hands‑on experience, or work toward a full‑time career with the industry leader. As a Security Officer in Sterling, VA, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site, with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it suits you.

Pay Rate: $22.86 per hour. Job Schedule: Day/Time – Saturday 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM.

How This Role Works

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six‑month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, always with the option to scale back when needed.
