Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Security Clearance Driver Patrol in Rolling Meadows, IL. This unarmed patrol role requires a valid DoD Secret clearance and a driver's license. You will conduct patrols, deter security incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while adhering to policy and reporting procedures.

The position is full-time with scheduled DayTime shifts. Candidates must meet minimum requirements, pass background checks, and comply with licensing rules.

Qualifications

• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials; report unusual conditions and policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports while maintaining professional communication.

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Driver Patrol in Rolling Meadows, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials in accordance with site requirements; report unusual conditions, access concerns, and policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
