Allied Universal in Plant City, FL is seeking a Security Officer Secure Entry Operations to protect clients across chemical and petrochemical sites. You will verify credentials, manage access, monitor activity, and deliver professional customer service.

This full-time role features night shifts and an hourly wage of $17.50, with opportunities to advance through training and growth programs while supporting safety and compliance across site operations.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, support access-control technology, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders.

• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
