Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Deterrence in Nashville, TN. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and provide professional customer service to residents and visitors while maintaining a visible deterrent to security-related incidents.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, a drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, property concerns, policy violations, and maintenance-related observations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

What You’ll Do
