Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for patrol inspection. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, and monitor for incidents while maintaining a professional presence and adherence to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience, or a college degree.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and government facility stakeholders by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas including perimeter and parking areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access and potential hazards; document observations in required reports.
• Maintain a visible professional presence and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and government facility stakeholders by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including the building perimeter, access points, parking areas, and other designated locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, helping to deter prohibited activity and documenting observations in required reports.
• Maintain a visible professional presence while supporting orderly operations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
