Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Jefferson, WI to protect clients across industries. You will monitor premises, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service to help create a welcoming environment.

As an unarmed officer, you will patrol assigned areas, manage access control, and report security concerns promptly. This full-time role features evening shifts with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour and benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements may apply by state or locality

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report through established procedures
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident documentation
• Observe conditions affecting facility operations and assist with access control during deliveries and shift changes

Job Description

As a Security Officer in Jefferson, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of food and beverage production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Observe conditions that may affect facility operations, report hazards or unusual activity to site leadership, and assist with access control during deliveries and shift changes.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
