Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Minooka, IL to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will monitor, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

You will perform foot and vehicle patrols, verify credentials, respond to alarms, and document observations, contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for employees and visitors at our logistics and distribution site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and delivery credentials, and direct drivers and guests according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
