Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Screening Documentation in Ontario, CA. You will screen people, packages, and vehicles, monitor access points, and provide courteous service while supporting site operations.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 2 years of security experience, and the ability to report incidents and maintain logs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen are required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control requirements at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and other items in accordance with established procedures, reporting prohibited, suspicious, or unauthorized items and activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and documentation, and maintain accurate screening-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, loading areas, and access points, and report unusual conditions.

Pay Rate: $21.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
