Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Identity Screening in New Stanton, PA to maintain a welcoming, secure environment at a high-traffic technology and media location.

You will screen employees, visitors, and packages, verify credentials, and report anomalies while delivering outstanding customer service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a high-traffic technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with site access-control procedures; verify credentials, direct individuals to appropriate entry points, and report discrepancies to site leadership.
• Operate screening equipment and follow established protocols for prohibited items, visitor processing, and access authorization while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access concerns, medical events, and facility disruptions; communicate observations through required reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry areas, screening stations, and surrounding business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
