Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Roving Patrol Driver for Fresno, TX. You will perform driving and foot patrols, monitor access points, and respond to alarms, providing a visible, customer-focused security presence across tech campus environments.

The role offers a part-time schedule with specified daytime and weekend shifts, and an hourly pay rate of $17.17. You will receive training and have opportunities for career growth within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Security Experience – 6+ Months.
• Access Control/Badge Experience – preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience – preferred.
• CPR/First Aid – preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, data and telecom areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and interior areas, observe cameras and/or alarm panels when assigned, and report irregular conditions according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site teams and public responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in written logs and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to supervisors and site contacts.
