Job Description

As a Security Officer – Flex Roving Patrol Driver in Stafford, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will patrol assigned areas, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and shoppers with friendly customer service and clear communication. You will respond to incidents, report concerns, and complete detailed documentation. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal driver policy. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients and customers by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, alarms, and/or other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances and exits, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter theft and other unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and associate activity for security-related issues, reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations according to post orders.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate updates to management, and coordinate with store personnel during investigations and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
