**Job Summary**

Full-Time **Retail Patrol Security Officer** to support a retail environment during evening shifts. This role requires strong observation skills and a customer-friendly approach while helping deter incidents and maintain order on-site.

**Schedule Details**

**Shift Begin:** 4 PM

**Shift End:** Midnight

**Workdays Available:** Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

**Compensation**

**Pay Rate:** $18.00 / Hr

**Requirements**

+ 1–2 years of prior security experience preferred

+ Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills

+ Ability to walk patrol routes and respond swiftly to incidents

+ Dependable, professional, and alert during high-traffic hours

As an **Security Officer** , we serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. This position is a **retail setting** , **evening shift** , **walking patrol** around **four-levels of a building** open to the **public** . This post will involve climbing stairs, interacting with the public, enforcing the rules of the building with the public, and an exterior patrol around the building.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
