Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to deter unauthorized access and theft.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations and actions per site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and crowd-flow during busy periods.

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail and dining location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive conduct.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and crowd-flow support during busy shopping, dining, and special-event periods.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
