Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Crime Prevention Patrol in Andover, MA, where you will provide exceptional customer service and safeguard clients across utilities and other industries.

This Part-Time role offers a flexible schedule with a pay rate of $21.73 per hour and assigns specific weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility operations areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials per site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
