As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Clearance Required Reception Driver in Houston, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.38 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with location procedures.


• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and available communication systems from the front desk to help support authorized access to government offices.


• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established reporting procedures.


• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, provide directions and general information, and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.


• An active DoD Confidential Clearance is required.


• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
