Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify ID and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Monitor entry activity, alarms, cameras, and communications systems; report unusual activity and security incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, contacting appropriate school personnel or emergency responders.
• Assist with front-desk administrative duties, provide directions and information, and help deter unauthorized access.

You will manage access, assist with visitor inquiries, monitor entry activity, communicate professionally, and help address security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Wed: 07:30 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Fri: 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain visitor logs.
• Monitor entry activity, alarms, cameras, and communications systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Assist with front-desk administrative duties, provide directions and information, and support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
