Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Reception Alarm Panel in Cleveland, OH. You will serve at a financial institution, greeting visitors, controlling access, and monitoring alarm panels while delivering professional customer service.

This full-time role follows a day-time schedule and offers opportunities to contribute to security operations at a prominent client site. You will participate in incident response, maintain logs, and support colleagues with access control procedures.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation and drug screen may be required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests according to location procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security systems from the front desk; report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, following escalation and procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident reports while protecting confidentiality.

You will manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm panels, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with location procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and available security-related systems from the front desk; report unusual activity, access concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, incident documentation, and other required reports while protecting confidential information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
