As a Security Officer Front Desk Reception in East Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while monitoring access, assisting visitors, and supporting security-related procedures. You will communicate clearly with employees and guests, help address questions or concerns, and contribute to a positive environment through outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 03:00 PM - 09:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 09:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 09:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at the front desk.
• Greet, screen, and direct visitors according to access-control requirements, maintaining accurate visitor logs and issuing credentials as assigned.
• Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and/or other front-desk systems; report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Maintain a professional, organized front-desk presence while supporting communication between visitors, facility personnel, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
