Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a security professional to safeguard facilities, monitor property, and assist visitors, patients, and staff with a focus on safety and hospitality. You will perform rounds, manage weapon screening with EVOLV technology, and respond to emergencies, ensuring adherence to policy while maintaining a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include access control, incident reporting, and coordination with health system security and local law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years security experience preferred.
• Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform posts walking and mobile security rounds; stationary posts; traffic control. Monitor doors, cameras, and alarms.
• Operate EVOLV weapon screening system and handheld wands; maintain incident logs and shift records; incident reports.
• Escort visitors, vendors, patients, and staff to locations; verify IDs and issue badges; enforce security protocols.
