Ellis Park Racing & Gaming, operated by Churchill Downs Incorporated, is seeking Security Officers to join our team and protect guests, team members, and property.

You will monitor access, respond to incidents, escort patrons as needed, and handle safety responsibilities in a fast-paced gaming environment at Ellis Park. Strong reliability, loyalty, and the ability to obtain a Kentucky gaming license are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or related field is required.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and security to guests, team members, and property.
• Report and assist in medical emergencies.
• Check IDs to ensure guests on the gaming floor are 21+.
• Patrol the facility, backside, and parking areas regularly.
• Identify and report irregularities; document incidents daily.
• Escort guests and team members to vehicles as needed for safety.
• Escort money transported to and from the cage.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations.
