Job summary

St. Mary's Health Care System is seeking a Part-time PRN Security Officer to join the Good Samaritan Security Team, recognizing the need for open availability across days, evenings, overnights and weekends in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license and clean driving record.
• CPR certification required within 1 year of employment; other security certifications listed in job details.
• Minimum of three years of security, police, or military experience preferred; healthcare security experience a plus.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• B. Licensure/Certification: Driver's license a must!

• Current State of Georgia driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (no more than six Trinity Health unsafe driving points within a 24-month period). Must obtain certifications in: American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR)* International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security* Defensive Tactics** ASP Tactical Baton** Taser** *Certification required within one year of employment. **Annual recertification required.

• C. Experience: Minimum of three years of security, police, or military experience preferred. Healthcare security experience is a plus.
