Job summary

Trinity Health's Good Samaritan campus is seeking a Part-time PRN Security Officer to help protect patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting. The role offers flexibility to pick up shifts based on availability, with days, evenings, overnights, and weekends required.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of security, police, or military experience; healthcare security is a plus. Required certifications include CPR, IAHSS, and others within one year of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license required with clean driving record (no more than six Trinity Health unsafe driving points in 24 months).
• Certifications required within one year: CPR, IAHSS, Defensive Tactics, ASP Tactical Baton, Taser; annual recertification.
• Minimum of three years of security, police, or military experience preferred; healthcare security experience a plus.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• B. Licensure/Certification: Driver's license a must!

• Current State of Georgia driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (no more than six Trinity Health unsafe driving points within a 24-month period). Must obtain certifications in: American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR)* International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security* Defensive Tactics** ASP Tactical Baton** Taser** *Certification required within one year of employment. **Annual recertification required.

• C. Experience: Minimum of three years of security, police, or military experience preferred. Healthcare security experience is a plus.
