Job summary

Cypress Cove is a beautiful 60-acre Life Plan Community in Florida seeking a Part Time Security Officer. You will monitor cameras, check in deliveries, perform rounds, assist in emergencies, and build relationships with residents, ensuring safety and comfort for residents and staff.

Ideal candidates have prior security experience, a cheerful disposition, and strong communication skills, with a genuine care for older adults.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• A great outlook, cheerful disposition and love of older adults are a must.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring security cameras and answering the phone in the Security office.
• Checking in and signing out campus deliveries.
• Performing security rounds internally and externally, identifying unsafe or unusual circumstances and taking appropriate actions to resolve situations.
• Assisting management and staff in fire, code, and emergency situations.
• Building lasting relationships with residents.

• Valid driver’s license required
