Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Premises Patrol in San Antonio, TX. This part‑time enhanced position offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings, and responsibilities include customer service and site patrols to maintain a safe retail environment.

Position pays $16.00 per hour with daytime hours (Sun 08:00 AM - 02:00 PM) and opportunities to scale hours through the scheduling platform while supporting a diverse, team‑oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigations will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store associates, customers, and visitors while carrying out site‑specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the retail sales floor, parking areas, loading zones, perimeter, and other designated areas to identify unusual activity and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, receiving areas, and contractor/vendor activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document observations and incidents as required.
• Communicate with store management, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed to support a positive retail environment.

As a Security Officer - Premises Patrol in San Antonio, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSun08:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
