• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner; document observations.
• Complete activity reports and communicate information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol - Headquarters in San Antonio, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and the perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit throughout the property.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Complete activity reports and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
