Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Services in Philadelphia, PA. This position offers reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay rate is $19.38 per hour. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, verifying IDs and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, monitoring access points, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Manage front desk access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or operational concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while providing professional communication with client representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
