Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Greet employees, visitors, and contractors; verify identification and authorization; issue visitor credentials; maintain accurate entry records.
• Monitor lobby activity, visitor access, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems; escalate concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and document events for appropriate personnel.
• Deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional front-desk presence and following visitor-management procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Operations in Harrisburg, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.89 / Hour

• Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older
• Law Enforcement Experience: A minimum of 1 year
• Security Experience: At least 6 months
• Access Control/Badge Experience: Familiarity with access control systems
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computers or tablets
• CPR Certification: Current certification required

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Greet employees, visitors, and contractors; verify identification and authorization; issue visitor credentials; and maintain accurate entry records.
• Monitor lobby activity, visitor access, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, escalating unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events.
• Help to deter unauthorized access to the financial institution location by maintaining a professional front-desk presence and following established visitor-management procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
