Job summary

Cologix, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to provide a physical security layer at one of our Dallas facilities. You will implement policies to safeguard employees, visitors and premises while delivering reliable security services.

Day-to-day duties include verifying identities, monitoring interior and exterior cameras, managing visitor access and conducting thorough security checks. You will respond to emergencies and collaborate with local authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• SORA license preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Verifies the identities of employees, customers and visitors entering and exiting the facility.
• Monitors interior and exterior cameras and addresses policy infractions.
• Controls the access of permitted visitors and provides temporary badges.
• Keeps an accurate log of all visitors/vendors using the PeopleTracker system.
• Patrols the interior and exterior of the building to check doors/windows and unauthorized individuals.
• Responds to emergencies and notifies authorities as needed.
