Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Lexington, MA. The role runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3 PM to 11 PM with starting pay at $22.00 per hour and paid orientation/training.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license; CPR is preferred and prior customer service or access control experience is a plus. This role supports healthcare/pharma site security with a focus on visibility, access control, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures; maintain visitor and incident logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, process-driven manner per emergency procedures.
• Communicate incidents and observations professionally to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
