Allied Universal in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Perimeter Patrol. You will provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors, perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents in accordance with campus protocols.

The role offers a flexible schedule, eligibility for paid training, and the chance to grow within a nationwide security team that emphasizes integrity and teamwork. Minimum 6 months security experience required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, building access procedures, and reporting of unauthorized access concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 09:00 AM - 09:00 PM
• Sun 09:00 AM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
