Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

• Monitor access, verify credentials, and report visitor activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and promptly to notify the appropriate contacts.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and handoff communications.

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in SHELBYVILLE, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs. Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 05:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, production-area access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
