Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Perimeter Patrol in Lakeland, FL. This part-time Enhanced role offers fixed hours with anchor shifts and the option to earn more through additional shifts via our scheduling platform.

The pay rate is $18.19 per hour. The position supports a flexible schedule, with a Friday shift from 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM, and opportunities to build toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifikationen

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Lakeland, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, verifying authorization in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, unusual activity, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
