Unarmed Security Officer – Employment Opportunity

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure and public venues requiring enhanced presence and asset protective services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Cover posts such as customer counter, employee, vehicle entrances, guard houses, gates, construction gates, parking lot, perimeter, etc.
  • Screen employees (in/out) and personal baggage at pedestrian and vehicle entrances.
  • Verify seal controls on vehicles at gateway (cut and apply seals).
  • Verify identity badges of personnel for clearance and screen vehicles.
  • Manage temporary badge process.
  • Conduct roving patrols on foot or in vehicle around perimeter fences, gates, buildings, warehouses, storage areas, switchyards, etc.
  • Identify fire hazards, unauthorized activity, malfunctioning utility, hazardous conditions.
  • Monitor CCTV.
  • Operate X‑ray machine.
  • Perform additional duties related to security of premises as required.
  • May be required to perform emergency duties that require physical exertion such as standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying up to 50 lbs. and running.
