Position Details:

• Location: Holyoke, MA
• Type: Per Diem
• Shift: Weekdays, 5:15am - 1:15pm, 5 shifts per month

Responsibilities:

• Perform general security duties to protect persons and property
• Enforce policies, rules, regulations, and laws
• Respond to emergencies and carry out procedures for emergency plans and codes
• Ensure safety of patients, visitors, and staff on hospital campus
• Assist with patient restraint during crises and problem solve independently

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Minimum one year experience in security or police functions
• Excellent communication and perception skills
• Ability to listen and respond to sounds indicating emergencies
• Physically capable of assisting with patient restraints
