Job summary

MiraVista is seeking a Security Officer in Holyoke, MA. You will perform security tasks to protect persons and property, open the facility, monitor the metal detector, check IDs, and control crowd dynamics on a hospital campus.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents, ensuring safety for patients, visitors, and staff, and following Emergency Plans and Codes. Requires vigilance, report writing, and ability to restrain patients during crises.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in security or police functions.
• Excellent depth perception, and side vision.
• Must be free of night blindness and be able to listen and hear machinery sound changes, whistles, cries for help, screams, alarms, and traffic noises.
• Candidates must be able to produce a concise and accurate report.
• Must be physically able to assist with the restraint of patients during crisis intervention and be able to problem solve on an independent basis.
