Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance in Ogden, UT. You will patrol facilities, monitor access points, and deliver professional customer service at an aerospace/defense site.

This full-time role requires biometric screening and adherence to post orders, with night shifts from Mon to Sun. Minimum requirements include DoD Secret clearance, 1+ year of security experience, and HS diploma; CPR/First Aid is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly and following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation per site requirements.

Pay Rate: $23.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
