Job summary

All Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer with an active DoD Secret Clearance for the Roy, UT location. You will provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and document activities following site procedures.

This role offers a weekend schedule (Sat 06:00-14:00, Sun 06:00-14:00) and requires a DoD Secret Clearance. Allied Universal emphasizes a people-first culture with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted per laws.
• Criminal history considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at aerospace/defense location while following policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and incidents calmly, following reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking and perimeter areas and report anomalies.
• Monitor access to controlled areas, verify credentials, document activity.
• Prepare daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs for leadership.

Pay Rate: $23.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to controlled areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
