As a Security Officer - Patrol Unarmed in Jackson, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with employees and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day	Time
Mon	03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Tue	03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Fri	07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Sat	07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
