Job summary

Allied Universal® in Arden, NC seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Surveillance. You will monitor production areas, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence across the site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law; a drug screen will be conducted where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following escalation and emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain logs, and support traffic flow at shipping and receiving areas.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
