Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site policies and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site policies; report suspicious activity.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports following Allied Universal procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a government housing location by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding professionally to concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with residents and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.77 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun: 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at government housing locations.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to designated personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
