Job summary

Allied Universal in Benton Harbor, MI is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol to deter incidents and support a safe, welcoming environment on a manufacturing site. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, monitor access, and respond to site needs with professionalism.

The schedule includes day and night shifts with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. Minimum age 18, high school diploma required, and a background check/drug screen will be completed as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related events.
• Support a professional, orderly workplace by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
