Allied Universal in Memphis, TN is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Response to protect clients across Tech/Media/Telecom sites. This unarmed position involves routine patrols, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible, professional presence.

Candidates should have at least 1 year security experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license for driving posts; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and first responders while supporting a professional and orderly environment.
