Job summary

Allied Universal in Westlake, TX is seeking a part-time unarmed Security Officer to monitor and protect a financial institution. You will deter incidents, control access, and deliver professional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

This position offers a flexible schedule through the Claim a Shift platform and integration with a team focused on integrity, reliability, and community safety.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs while maintaining a professional presence in a corporate financial-services environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
