Job summary

Citiguard is seeking a dedicated Security Guard in Coachella, California to protect client properties and maintain safety. This full-time role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, and responding to incidents with composure.

You will operate CCTV and security devices, write clear reports, and coordinate with local authorities when needed. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, proven security experience, and strong observation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven work experience as security officer or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of area security guidelines and public safety.
• Ability to write clear, accurate reports.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor premises to prevent intrusion and ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure.
• Monitor and authorize entry and exit of employees, visitors and others to maintain security.
• Write daily activity and irregularity reports (theft, damage, unauthorized persons).
• Call police or fire departments in emergencies.
• Circulate among visitors and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Operate CCTV and other security equipment to screen individuals.
• Escort individuals to specified locations or provide personal protection.
• Warn violators and, if needed, remove them from premises using appropriate force.
