Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted California Guard Card.
• CA driver’s license with a clean driving record and up‑to‑date auto insurance.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
• Two years of security guard experience or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building entrances to guard against theft and protect premises.
• Cover the welcome desk as needed.
• Monitor security cameras for inappropriate activity.
• Patrol buildings and grounds by foot or vehicle to detect intrusion and protect doors, windows, and gates.
• Openings and closings of DAP Health areas and buildings.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Respond to security emergencies and alarms; notify authorities as needed.
• Provide assistance to patients, clients, or guests when requested.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports.
