Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Inspection in Carthage, MS. This part-time role involves unarmed patrols at a food/beverage location, monitoring access, and delivering professional customer service.

You’ll contribute to a safe environment while supporting site leadership and following established procedures. The position offers flexible daytime/evening shifts with a focus on safety, incident response, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document observations and actions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and directing visitors/contractors.
• Observe and report unusual conditions or hazards that may affect operations.

You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production-area access points, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and reporting access-control concerns to site leadership.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, spills, or hazards that may affect operations or personnel at the food production location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
