As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor areas, respond to alarms, and document incidents while maintaining safety and a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay is $15.66 per hour with flexible day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific access procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
