Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Patrol Incident Response) in Fort Wayne, IN. You will patrol unarmed, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The schedule is part-time with shifts including daytime hours. CPR certification and a high school diploma are preferred, and background checks and a drug screen may be required.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
