Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Support in Los Angeles, CA. You will protect patients, visitors and staff, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to emergencies with professionalism.

Position Type: Full Time; Pay Rate: $20.70 / Hour; Schedule includes DayTime and Evening shifts. Allied Universal offers training, growth opportunities, and a benefits program.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Background histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, structured manner following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the facility and grounds to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and assist visitors while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, providing directions and assistance while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
